At SKC Creative, we believe that the foundation for a successful partnership starts with a smooth, supportive, and streamlined onboarding process. Whether you're a small business owner diving into digital marketing for the first time or a seasoned pro looking for fresh strategy, we’re here to make sure your experience with us feels easy, organized, and intentional from day one.

Here’s a behind-the-scenes look at what you can expect when you sign on with SKC Creative:

Step 1: Account Access

To kick things off, we’ll need access to the platforms we’ll be supporting you on. Most commonly, this includes:

  • Admin access to your Facebook & Instagram Pages

  • Login credentials (when applicable) for social media platforms, and scheduling or marketing tools

This allows us to begin managing content, tracking analytics, and building your presence seamlessly. We’ll walk you through exactly how to grant access—no tech stress involved.

Step 2: Branding Materials

Next up: we make sure we’re representing your brand accurately and consistently. We’ll ask you to upload the following to a shared Google Drive folder we’ve created just for you:

  • High-resolution logos

  • Brand guidelines (fonts, colors, tone of voice)

  • Any existing marketing or promotional materials

This helps us keep everything on-brand from the start—whether we're creating a social media post, designing graphics, or writing captions.

Step 3: Visual & Content Collection

Now it’s time to gather the content that tells your story. We’ll ask you to share:

  • Photos of completed work, products, or behind-the-scenes moments

  • Any customer testimonials or success stories

  • Case studies, client features, or other highlights

To make things easy, we’ll also provide a list of content ideas—so even if you’re on a job site or in the middle of a project, you’ll know exactly what types of photos or videos to snap.

Step 4: Communication & Collaboration

Collaboration is key to everything we do. During onboarding, we’ll ask you to:

  • Designate a point of contact from your team for approvals and content questions

  • Share any upcoming dates, promotions, or events you’d like us to highlight

  • Let us know about any Facebook groups or communities you'd like to target

  • Clear communication helps us stay aligned and proactive with planning, content calendars, and campaigns.

Step 5: Content Approval

We want you to feel confident in everything we create, so you’ll have the opportunity to review and approve all content before it goes live.

We use a collaborative content scheduling platform to make this process easy. We will send you a short tutorial on how to review, comment, and approve content, once you’re set up.
